Setup
Most venues are live within one business day and you are able to start engaging with your agent. Once you receive your printer it's simply a matter of switching it on and diverting your phone number to start using Otto.
A kitchen printer is included with every plan and will be sent to your venue location. You do not need a new phone system, new devices, or any technical infrastructure.
No. The Otto team handles configuration. You provide your menu, specific SOPs and ordering preferences. We do the rest.
Yes. Otto offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. This is where you can build a trial agent yourself using your menu and call it before signing up.
Your menu, trading hours, pickup or delivery preferences, and any substitution or modifier rules. The more detail you provide, the more accurately Otto represents your venue.
Number Forwarding
No. Otto works with your existing number. Calls are diverted through Otto in the background and your customers call the same number they always have.
Yes. Otto answers calls all outside of your business hours as well as while you're open. Otto is an always on AI phone agent.
If required you can pause call forwarding. Your phone returns to ringing as normal.
Human Transfer
Yes. If a caller needs human assistance, Otto can transfer the call to your team. You choose which call types trigger a transfer.
Otto captures the caller's details and the reason for the call and sends the information to your team for follow-up via SMS or email.
Yes. Otto captures everything discussed before compiling an email or SMS that can be sent to a dedicated number. This could be you as the owner or your team.
Menu Complexity
Yes. Otto is trained on your full menu including modifiers, add-ons, substitutions, and banned item combinations. It follows your venue's rules exactly.
You can update Otto in real time using overrides. Mark items as sold out, adjust wait times, or add public holiday notes without rebuilding the whole setup.
Yes. Otto can answer questions about allergens and dietary requirements based on the information you provide. For complex or high-risk queries, it can transfer the call to a staff member.
Otto can be updated whenever your menu changes. You can make these changes in your Otto admin portal. For small changes, overrides allow you to make quick adjustments.
Languages
The Growth plan supports 3 languages. The Pro and Unlimited plans support 10 or more languages.
Otto detects the language the caller is speaking and responds accordingly without the caller needing to select an option or press a button.
Yes. You set a default language during setup and Otto falls back to it if a language cannot be detected.
Bookings
Yes. Otto books, updates, and cancels reservations. It sends these requests through to the team via the printer, KDS or email and SMS. This is configured to your venues requirements during set up.
Otto provides clear confirmation at the end of every booking call, which reduces the likelihood of no-shows caused by miscommunication or forgotten details.
Yes. Otto captures group size, timing, menu requirements, and any special requests, then flags complex enquiries to your team for follow-up.
Yes. Otto answers booking calls around the clock, so customers can reserve a table outside of trading hours without your staff needing to be available.
Integrations
Otto integrates with a range of online ordering systems, including HungryHungry and MOBI. During onboarding the team will confirm compatibility with your specific setup.
Orders go directly to your KDS or kitchen printer the same way an online order would. No staff member needs to relay them. The printer can be set up with your front-of-house team if that suits your existing operations.
Currently Otto doesn't integrate with booking platforms. To find out more about bookings reach out to the team.
Pricing
Otto has three plans. Growth is $299 per month and includes 750 minutes. Pro is $599 per month and includes 1,800 minutes. Unlimited is $999 per month with no minute caps.
You will be notified before you reach your minutes cap. On Growth, additional minutes are charged at $0.27 per minute. On Pro the rate is $0.25 per minute. The Unlimited plan has no overage charges.
No. There are no setup fees on any plan.
No. Otto is month to month. You can cancel any time. By signing up for an annual subscription you will reduce your monthly cost.
Every plan includes core AI ordering tailored to your venue, a kitchen printer, a local phone number, unlimited SMS, and call transcripts.
Support
Growth and Pro plans include standard support. Pro adds priority support. The Unlimited plan includes SLA-backed support with guaranteed response times.
At the end of 14 days you can choose a plan and continue. If you decide not to continue Otto stops answering calls. You are never charged without choosing to proceed.
